"Lost Origins" By Richard Broadstreet ---------------------------------------------------------- Prehistory Atlantis - Earth ---------------------------------------------------------- An alarm sounded throughout the control tower. Aram^Ta took a look at his console. "Reptilian vessels coming in from the north on an intercept course." he told Commander Axt^Ar. "Prepare for attack." Axt^Ar commanded. The Reptilians are an evil race. They destroyed thier own planet long ago because they wouldn't care for thier environment. Before the Armageddon, a minority of the race escaped and have been searching for a new planet to invade and conquer. Then, they had discovered Earth. It was too bad for them that Axt^Ar and the other Greys were already on Earth and were ready to defend Earth for thier own purposes. "Powering the AstroLasers." Aram^Ta announced. The AstroLasers were two powerful lasers that protected the island from intruders. They were the most powerful weapons on Atlantis. "We have visual due north." another Grey announced. Everyone looked north, out the wrap-around window, to view the incoming intruders. Some were frightened by what they saw, an entire fleet of Reptilian marauders. "AstroLasers online." Aram^Ta said to the room. "Shield sustained." Axt^Ar sensed something. It was the sense of finality. This would be the final battle of Atlantis. The Reptilian craft began firing at the energy shield, but the lasers just bounced off. They turned around in a circle for a second attempt. Tam^Ra looked at the monitor in disbelief. "Commander." she called. "What is it?" Axt^Ar asked. "It's the shield. It's been disabled." Tam^Ra explained. "Then enable it." Axt^Ar told her. Tam^Ra tapped a few keys repeatedly. "I can't. It is locked, sir." She tapped a few more keys. "It was disabled directly. In the Shield Room." "Begin an investigation immediately." Axt^Ar commanded. "Affirmative." Tam^Ra replied and got to work. "Aram^Ta, fire AstroLasers on incoming invaders." Axt^Ar told him. "Yes, sir." Aram^Ta replied. The Reptilian warships came back around and began firing on the alien command center. Explosions rocked the control tower as the shots hit home. The AstroLasers fired at the invading craft, reducing a third of thier numbers within two minutes. "Shit." Aram^Ta muttered. "The AstroLasers are malfunctioning." "What?!" Axt^Ar almost screamed in disbelief. "The AstroLasers are malfuctioning." Aram^Ta repeated. "Order a fleet of our warships out there. Now!" Axt^Ar commanded. The craft lifted off immediately to do battle with the Reptilians. But thhe signs of a losing battle were beginning to show. "Commander." Tam^Ra called. "What is it?" Axt^Ar asked. "There seems to be two of our warships that are not fighting. They're leaving due west." Tam^Ra explained. "What the hell is going on today?" Axt^Ar muttered under his breath. "Only half of our forces remaining." Aram^Ta informed. Axt^Ar looked out the viewing window at the ongoing battle. After a few moments, he turned and began moving toward the door. "Where are you going, sir?" Aram^Ta asked. "I...need some fresh air." Axt^Ar explained and left tthe room before Aram^Ta could reply. "They must be here for the TerraSpheres." Axt^Ar muttered. He ran off to the defense area to secure the TerraSpheres. Friday, February 11, 2011 - 11:42pm Home - near Nathrop, CO, USA ---------------------------------------------------------- Krystal and I kissed passionately on the couch. Once we had started, it was always hard to stop. Our relationship had matured well in the last month or so. We hadn't made love yet. But, we were just satisfied being with each other. No need for sex. Yet anyway. I began kissing her neck. My lips kept wondering across Krystal's soft skin. A soft moan escaped her throat. Soon, my lips returned to hers in a deep kiss. But, his mind went back to Scott for a moment. What was his deal? He had been acting strange recently. Like just a few minutes ago, Scott came downstairs and stumbled upon us making out on the couch. As soon as he saw us, Scott turned and walked out the door. Our lips parted once again and Krystal smiled. Just then, the front door opened and Scott walked back in. "Back already?" I asked him. "Already?" Scott said. "I've been gone for over thirty minutes." "Oh. Seemed like only five." I said and laughed lightly, while looking at Krystal. Scott sighed. "Whatever." he muttered and started up the stairs to his room. I began wondering what could be wrong with Scott, but my line of thought was broken as soon as Krystal began kissing me again. Early Saturday, February 12, 2011 - 03:24am Richard's dream plane ---------------------------------------------------------- As soon as I drifted off to sleep, I was back at an all-too-familiar place. All around where sky would be, there was only blackness. Below me, I was standing on an unseen ground hidden by some sort of mist or smoke that continuously moved around my feet. I had been here many times before, and here I was again. "Richard." a familiar voice called. I turned and saw my sister standing before me once again. We hugged. "It's too bad this is the only way we can meet." I said. "Yeah." Dana replied. "I see that things will change soon." "Like what?" I asked. "Many things." Dana told me. "These things will change for the worse based on the decisions you make in the coming days. ...They're coming." "Who's coming?" I asked, beginning tto get worried. Dana was silent for a moment and began getting transparent like before. "You must protect the Terra--" Just then, Dana disappeared. She just faded away. A look of confusion appeared on my face and I began to look around the void that I sttod within. I saw only blackness and smoke. A few moments later, I noticed a slight rumbling sound. It was slowly getting louder... Early Saturday, February 12, 2011 - 03:36am Home - near Nathrop, CO, USA ---------------------------------------------------------- I awoke in my bed and sat up. A few drops of sweat made thier way down my face. I could still hear that slight rumbling sound. I quickly got out of bed and hurried to the window, expecting to see something supernatural or odd...like a spacecraft. Only I saw nothing out of the ordinary. Trying not to make a lot of noise, I walked out of the room and down the stairs quickly. Once I reached the living room, I noticed a new noise. Only this one seemed to be coming from inside the house. I walked toward the sound and ended up in front of the closet door. I opened it to, again, find nothing out of the ordinary. Then, it came to me. It was in the hidden room, I realized. Being careful, I walked into the closet and closed the door behind me. Then, I opened the secret door hidden in the back wall and went down the stairs behind it. The rattling was now louder than ever. It was coming from the desk, the only furniture in the entire room. The drawer. I took a key ring from my pocket and unlocked it. Once I opened it, the two TerraSpheres I had sworn to protect flew out. Both of them glowed brightly as they zoomed through the air and banged against the hard concrete wall in the exit direction. The two collisions, one after another, struck up lots of dust and debris. When it cleared, I could see the spheres lodged in the wall, still glowing and vibrating. I could only stare in disbelief for a moment, not knowing what was going on. Then I grabbed the box they had broken out of and approached them. It took all my strength to get them out of the wall and back into the box. Oddly, once they were back in the box, they stopped trying to escape. As soon as I got the spheres put away and was back in the living room again, I noticed the large rumbling sound was now louder than ever before. It was still coming from outside. I unlocked the front door and ran outside into the cold. Looking up, I saw nothing at first. Then some kind of slight movement. Suddenly, a spacecraft appeared in the star-lit sky, as if it just decloaked. It began to land. Stopping where I was, I watched and waited for the craft to land. Soon, the craft landed and opened. A Grey alien, wearing some kind of device over where thier mouth would be, walked off the ship and toward me. He soon stopped and began staring. "Do you have the TerraSpheres?" the alien asked. "Why are you looking for them?" I asked. There was silence for a few moments "Do you know where the TerraSpheres are?" the extraterrestrial reworded. I was silent for a moment. "Why are you looking for them?" I repeated. The alien paused a moment, as if thinking. "We need theem on our planet as soon as possible or both of our planets will parish." "I think I'll need a little more detail than that." I replied. "There isn't enough time to explain." the alien told me. "Could you at least give me some time to think about it?" I paused. "I don't have the TerraSpheres here anyway." They Grey thought for a bit. "Fine. Saturday. 7PM. Right here." "Thank you." I told him as he boarded his craft. What Axt^Ar knew and the humans didn't was that he had tracked the TerraSpheres to thier home. They were there alright. And tonight, he would reclaim them for his people... Saturday, February 12, 2011 - 11:42am Home - near Nathrop, CO, USA ---------------------------------------------------------- I fixed myself up a bit for the day ahead and walked into the living room to find Scott reading the morning's newspaper. "You look like you just woke up." Scott muttered. "I did." I told him. "I had a hell of a time getting back to sleep after the alien spacecraft landing in our front lawn." "What?!" Scott asked, looking shocked. I explained to him what happened with the TerraSpheres and the alien early this morning. "Well, do you believe him?" Scott said. I paused for a moment. "No, I don't." "What do we do then?" Scott wondered. "I think we let them borrow them." Krystal said, coming intto the room. "I couldn't help but overhear the conversation in here." Krystal then walked to me and passionately kissed me. It tasted wonderful. "I came to fetch you...to show you something." Krystal said to me, smiling. "Alright." I tild her, then turned to Scott. "We'll discuss this further later." I then turned and followed Krystal upstairs into my bedroom. She closed the door behind me. Then, Krystal began kissing me more passionately than ever. Krystal quickly removed my shirt. At that point, I knew she wanted to do something more than make out. She then removed her own shirt. Krystal then began kissing me once again, as she caressed her way down to my pants. Then, she loosened the pants and I helped her remove them. Then, I removed her pants. Krystal pushed me onto the bed, removed my underwear, then removed her own. She then sat in my lap and slowly removed her bra as well. My hands reached up and caressed her tits. She moaned a bit in reply. My manhood hardened and my animal instincts took effect. I entered her and began to pump slowly. Krystal began moaning more loudly. Scott was now back on the couch in the living room. He sighed, trying not to think of what they could possibly be doing up there. He thought he had won and began watching a little TV. A moment later, he muted the TV a second, thinking he heard something. When he heard it again, he knew he had definately heard what he hoped he wouldn't. "Damnit." Scott muttered, a sad yet angry look then appearing on his face. Saturday, February 12, 2011 - 04:21pm Richard's dream plane ---------------------------------------------------------- I was once again in the place of my dreams, standing among the mist and blackness. Then, Dana just appeared before me. "Hi again." I said to her, smiling. "No time for pleasentries this time around, Richard." Dana told me. "Do not give up the TerraSpheres. These Greys are only decieving you." "I had thought the Greys weren't a malevolent race. But good." I said. "This faction is evil. You must believe me." Dana told me. "Now that I think of it, why must I believe you?" I said. "You may have my lost sister's face, but how do I know that this is not an illusion? Or some kind of mind control? Or worse?" Dana paused for a moment while in thought. "You don't." she finally admitted. "I can think of no way I can prove this to you. But I swear to you, I am your sister." Here image waivered for a second. "The Greys are coming back." "Already." I asked. But it was too late. My sister had already vanished. Saturday, February 12, 2011 - 04:34pm Home - near Nathrop, CO, USA ---------------------------------------------------------- I awoke in my bed suddenly and sat up. Krystal was now gone. I got out of bed and quickly put my clothes on. All the while, hearing that familiar rumbling sound. I stumbled down the stairs and into the living room to find Krystal and Scott peeking out the front window. "Where were you? They've already landed." Scott said. Krystal only gave me a knowing smile. "They're early." I told him as I picked up the box that held the TerraSpheres. Then, I decided against bringing them with me and sat them back down. I wouldn't be needing them out there. I walked out to the waiting Grey. "You're early." I repeated. "We really need the TerraSpheres." the alien replied. "Have you come to a decision?" "Yes, I have." I told him. "We refuse. I am sorry." "So be it." the Grey said, his facial expressions becoming somewhat menacing. He looked beyond me, toward the house, for a moment. Then, suddenlt pulled a weapon of some kind. Before I could react with my Metagene powers, the alien fired the weapon twice. Two force fields came from the gun and overtook Scott and I, detaining us. "Krystal! Help!" I yelled in between attempts to use my Metagene powers to break the field. "Oh, I will." Krystal said, walking past me. I noticed then that she had the TerraSpheres box in her hand. Krystal walked up to the Grey and handed him the box. "Have you procreated, Tami^Ta?" the alien asked. "Yes, Commander Axt^Ar." Tami^Ta replied. "Well done." Axt^Ar told her. I couldn't believe I had been decieved yet again. After everything we had done together... "If you aren't the real Krystal Ford, where is she?" I was afraid of the answer. "We couldn't leave two of them just running around." Axt^Ar said. "We eliminated her." "But..." I began. "The Greys are a peaceful race. Not evil." "Not all of us..." Axt^Ar said. Then he gestured with his force field weapon that we enter the spacecraft. The force fields surrounding the each of us began to move. Scott and I were slowly pulled into the ship. Saturday, Fabruary 12, 2011 - 4:46pm Unknown location ---------------------------------------------------------- This was amazing. I was onboard the Grey ship, still detained, and I watched out the window as the craft took off from the ground. Then, the next thing I knew it we were over some large body of water. After that, we began to descend. Soon, the craft was underneath the water and still descending. "Are you enjoying the view?" Axt^Ar asked as he came up behind me. "Where are we going?" I asked. "The civilization of Atlantis." Axt^Ar replied. "But I thought that place was destroyed ages ago." Scott told him. "It was." Axt^Ar answered. "The island on which it rested anyway." Axt^Ar removed the force fields surrounding us and replaced them with handcuff-like restraints. "So what happened?" I asked. "Atlantis was rising to become the capital of planet Earth. Picture it. Earth joined into one, instead of separated by petty differences like it is today. Atlantis was pushing toward that. They wanted everyone on Earth joined in peace. But not all agreed with them that this was the way to go. They thought this would certainly destroy Earth in the end. So the island began sustaining attacks by this group, which was mostly of the Reptilian race. Soon some Atlantis members were payed off handsomely to join the other side. They planned to steal the all-powerfull TerraSpheres that powered most of Atlantis' weapons as well as the island's protective shield. On Atlantis' final day, the TerraSpheres were stolen in the midst of a great battle. THe damage was so immanse, the entire island sunk into the ocean. Over the centuries, the island became mere myth to the humans of the planet. Little did they know that the civilization was eventually rebuilt under the sea. And there it lies today..." Axt^Ar said, looking out at the virtually endless water that enveloped them. "I was in with the group that stole them that day. Over time, the TerraSpheres were lost. But now, I have found them..." The entire time he was speaking, I was powering up, ready to fire his Metagene energy at Axt^Ar. "I wouldn't do that." Axt^Ar told us. "I've already told you too much. It's no big deal though." He quickly took out a device of some kind and raised it to my temple. "You'll both be dead anyway." Axt^Ar fired the device, sending an indescribable pain through my body. Then everything before me turned to complete black. END OF STORY #344 - TO BE CONTINUED... STORY #345 PREVIEW COMING SOON
